Evelyn White, Piano Instructor, was born into a musical family, Evelyn began playing at the age of three and very soon found herself accompanying her parents on various occasions in their hometown of Clarksville, Tennessee.

She entered college at the age of sixteen and received a B.A. in Piano Performance from Austin Peay State University. In 1998, she was the recipient of the school's outstanding Young Alumna Award. Evelyn's musical talent runs the gamut. From her early gospel church playing, to the classical training in college, to her days with Opryland as pianist for Today's Country Roads; from musical director of various Broadway shows for Musicana Enterprises, to pianist and vocalist for the American & Hawaiian Cruise Line. From the classroom as a teacher, to the stage as a performer, she is comfortable wherever the music takes her.

During the summers of 1998 and 1999, Evelyn toured Russia as the guest of
the Russian Ministry of Cultural Affairs. There she performed with international jazz artists such as Leonid Vinstskevich and Lembit Saasaslu. She now calls Atlanta home and is known throughout the region for her musical versatility and virtuosity.

She joined the CCCEPA faculty in July, 2004.
