Jake Dogias joined the CCCEPA faculty in the fall of 2013. He is an alumnus of the performing arts magnet program. As a student at Pebblebrook, Mr. Dogias was cast in his very first play by Mr. Bob Adams and in the process, discovered a love for acting that has guided his life ever since. Mr. Dogias went on to earn a B.A. in Drama from The University of Georgia and an M.F.A in Acting from the prestigious Claire Trevor School of the Arts at The University of California - Irvine, where he studied with renowned acting teachers Robert Cohen and Richard Brestoff.

Following his formal training, Mr. Dogias lived and worked professionally as an actor both in New York City and Los Angeles, where he was cast in guest roles on a dozen different television series, including recurring roles on ABC's "Better Off Ted" and "The Forgotten."  He has performed in numerous stage productions, with favorite roles including Mozart in "Amadeus" and his graduate thesis role of Iago in Shakespeare's "Othello."

While in graduate school, Mr. Dogias became convinced that his true calling was ultimately to teach acting.  He instructed acting and voice classes for drama majors at UC Irvine, and in the years since, has continued to teach in various capacities, including guest instruction of master classes, private coaching and as a senior instructor at a conservatory-style program in Los Angeles for students in grades K-12.
